Mexican Madras Cocktail
Welcome to May, a month with so many things worth celebrating! Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day, and the flowers all of those April Showers promised to bring us, to name a few. As the weather gets warmer, and the days get sunnier, we know everyone is itching to jump into the summer months; and what better way than with a refreshing, summery cocktail!
In the spirit of Cinco de Mayo, we are sharing a favourite of ours: the Mexican Madras. A south-of-the-border spin on the traditional Madras, which was itself a variation of the Cape Cod cocktail (vodka and cranberry with lime), the Mexican Madras replaces the vodka with tequila for a bold, Latin twist.
